This VOGUE exclusive 2003 limited edition Christmas bread is a collaboration between two long-established Milanese bakeries, Pasticceria San Carlo, and the manufacturer Paolo Lazzaroni & Figli. Candied citrus, lemon zest, and raisins combine to create a classic flavor that never gets old. French artist Octave Marsal, renowned for his collaborations with Maison Hermes, incorporates his artwork into the box design, making it a highly collectible item. The bread is wrapped in exquisite handmade jacquard fabric and then placed in a beautifully patterned metal box. The jacquard fabric lining is also made by a historic Italian textile company.
