Mattira is a Portuguese fortified wine produced in the Martell Islands. During the winemaking process, 96% spirits are added when the grapes reach a certain sweetness level to stop fermentation. A unique heating process also promotes oxidation. It presents a deep amber color with a bright and refreshing appearance, rich fruit aromas, fragrant creamy notes, and a spicy base. It has a full body and a round finish.
