This is Mr. Occelli’s original milk cheese. Fieno Maggengo means “May grass” in Italian. It uses Piedmont pasture grass harvested by hand in the first half of May, with a higher proportion of flowers than other grasses, giving this cheese a unique aroma. It has a delicate texture and is suitable for enjoying on its own or paired with fruity white wines or craft beers.

Outer layer: The pasture grass is not edible; the outer layer must be removed before consumption.
