Leonardi 50 Year Balsamic IGP 50ml*2/box
Italian balsamic vinegar is a natural balsamic vinegar made from grapes. Its origins can be traced back to the 11th-century Renaissance, when it was believed to be a cure for the plague. However, around 1980, some Italian chefs discovered that the vinegar’s uniquely rich flavor complemented modern Mediterranean cuisine, leading to its rapid global popularity. This product is made in the small towns of Modena and Reggio Emilia in northern Italy, using the optimal grape varieties for balsamic vinegar (Lambrusco & Trebbiano). After harvesting, the grapes are lightly crushed and simmered for 26-32 hours until thickened. After filtering, it undergoes fermentation and vinegar production, then is aged in wooden barrels for 50 years. It contains absolutely no caramel coloring or artificial coloring, retaining its most natural flavor—a refreshing and tangy taste. It pairs perfectly with salads, bread, pasta, various meats, or even as a drizzle over ice cream—the flavors are always perfectly balanced!
