Type: French/Washed/Pasteurized or Unpasteurized Milk/45% Milk Fat. Also known as Moyaux cheese, it is possibly the oldest cheese in Normandy, said to have been made in the 7th century by a monastery. Its original name was Pont d’Angelot, and it was renamed Pont L’eveque in the 16th century. This soft and rich cheese is best enjoyed at room temperature and can be served as a dessert with a full-bodied red wine.
