The entire production process of this oil-infused anchovy fillet follows traditional methods. The anchovies are dehydrated and matured in salt and brine tanks until fully matured. Afterward, they are soaked in hot water to remove the skin, and the fillets are manually extracted. The fillets are arranged in cans, and finally, vegetable oil is added. The cans are then sealed, sterilized, cleaned, and labeled, completing a delicious jar of oil-infused anchovy fillets.
Adding oil-infused anchovy fillets enhances the flavor of dishes and is versatile in everyday cooking. It’s suitable for both hot and cold dishes. It can be used directly or chopped (or grated) into a paste and easily paired with bread, lettuce, pasta (famously, the “House of the Prostitutes” pasta), heated in sauces, and many other dishes.
