Montanaro Grappa di Arneis 700ml*6/case
Established in 1885, Montanaro still insists on handcrafted production. Not only does it carry historical significance, but it’s also the first Grappa winery to produce the king of red wines, Barolo. This particular Grappa breaks with tradition, using only high-quality single-varietal white grapes from Arneis for distillation and aging for two years in old oak barrels to achieve a smoother taste. Elegant white floral aromas are a characteristic of this Grappa, with a surprising smoothness and subtle sweetness that lingers on the nose. Its delicate flavor is best enjoyed neat, chilled, rather than chilled, unlike typical Grappas. Alcohol content: 43%.
