This wine is a perfect blend of Sicily’s most famous native grape varieties, Nero d’Avola and Syrah. First, the main Syrah is aged in oak barrels for 6-8 months, while the Nero davola grapes are dried for 60 days. After fermentation, the resulting liquid is mixed with the Syrah and aged in steel tanks for another 6 months. It boasts rich fruit aromas, with notes of blackberry, raspberry, and cherry, along with hints of violet. The Syrah also offers spicy notes, along with refined tobacco and vanilla flavors derived from the wood.
Through a carefully crafted approach using a golden ratio and combined barrel aging/drying techniques, it achieves a smooth and juicy palate, elegant and delicate tannins, and an excellent balance of structure and body. Serving temperature: 16-18 degrees Celsius.
