(I) For refrigerated goods that meet the criteria of Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the “Guidelines for Reasonable Exceptions to the Right of Termination of Contracts” (goods that are perishable, have a short shelf life, or are about to expire at the time of termination), the 7-day termination right will be excluded, and the 7-day termination right stipulated in Article 19 of the Consumer Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as the Consumer Protection Act) will no longer apply. Therefore, returns will not be accepted. Please confirm your needs before purchasing.
(II) To prevent animal infectious diseases, imported animals or animal products subject to quarantine must comply with animal quarantine regulations and apply for quarantine as required. Violators who import goods subject to quarantine from abroad may be imprisoned for up to 7 years and fined up to NT$3 million. Failure to apply for quarantine as required will be subject to a fine of up to NT$1 million and may be punished repeatedly.
(III) Goods subject to quarantine may not be included with imported goods. (iv) Recipients who violate Article 34, Paragraph 3 of the Animal Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Act by failing to deliver imported goods subject to quarantine to the importing or exporting animal quarantine authority for destruction shall be fined between NT$30,000 and NT$150,000.
(v) In accordance with Article 30, Paragraph 1 of the Tobacco and Alcohol Administration Act, the sale or transfer of alcoholic beverages may not be conducted through vending machines, mail order, electronic shopping, or other means where the age of the purchaser or transferee cannot be identified. Alcohol information is provided for browsing reference only and online ordering is not legally permitted.
(vi) Quarantine certificates may be provided when quoting or purchasing imported fresh goods.
