They began producing biscuits in 1719 and liqueurs in 1847. The company’s president, Paolo Lazzaroni, and the current CEO, Luca Lazzaroni, are the 7th and 8th generation of the family, respectively.
For 300 years, the Lazzaroni family has been developing and baking Amaretti almond cookies and the classic Milanese Christmas cake, Panettoni, in their hometown of Saronno.
