Marzadro Amaro 700ml*6/case
Alcohol content 30%. This wine is made using an ancient medicinal wine recipe from the Trentino region of northeastern Italy. Since 1950, owner Attilio Marzadro has been sourcing various alpine plants from the Baldo mountain at an altitude of 2218 meters to make the wine. The winery still uses the same recipe today: Alpine rhubarb, yellow gentian, white sedge root, chamomile, fennel, thistle, and goat’s bean, among other plants, all hand-picked and cold-brewed for 20-30 days. Its beautiful red color comes from the rhubarb, which also imparts a bitter and complex flavor.
